Here is a superb Liberal attack ad.
Andrew Leigh isn`t happy - he .
In a Liberal Celebration ad posted on the net yesterday, I`m quoted as saying `I believe my colleagues,a lange sohne datograph, like me,replica watch paypal, are looking forward to the tax which is coming around the 1st of July`.
This is definitely an incorrect transcript of my statement. In fact, I stated that `my colleagues, buy watches online, like me, are searching forward to the tax switch that`s coming on the 1st of July`.
Say `tax which` and `tax switch` out aloud and also you hear the issue. Andrew could have stated either - in fact, he normally talks pretty promptly and that doesn`t assistance either. It is actually only inside the slow motion repeat in the ad that it becomes apparent that he said `switch` and not `which`.
But does getting said `switch` and not `which` actually support his case? Really no. The ALP are now attempting the argument that the carbon tax policy is actually a substitution of tax bases away from private income and towards carbon. In principle that is definitely a policy switch that could be worthwhile investigating, not that I am convinced it will be a fantastic idea, but that was . In any occasion - as Andrew Leigh knows and understands - it`s the economic incidence with the tax that is certainly critical and in that context regardless of whether he mentioned `which` or `switch` is irrelevant.
